Hyndburn Connected is an independent community platform designed to help people find local information, events, activities, support services, organisations and opportunities across Hyndburn.

These Terms of Use apply when you access or use www.hyndburnconnected.co.uk.

By using the website, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these terms.
 

Information on the website

We aim to make information on Hyndburn Connected useful, accurate and up to date.

However, much of the information we publish is supplied by community organisations, businesses, public bodies, event organisers and other third parties.

We cannot guarantee that every listing, event, opening time, price, contact detail or service description will always be complete or current.

Where something is important, particularly before travelling, attending an event or paying for a service, you should check the details directly with the relevant organisation or provider.

Hyndburn Connected promotes and signposts events and activities taking place across the borough.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, Hyndburn Connected is not the organiser or provider of those events.

• cancellations or changes

• ticketing and refunds

• insurance

• suitability of activities

• compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Support services and community organisations

Inclusion within the Community Directory or elsewhere on Hyndburn Connected does not constitute formal endorsement, accreditation or recommendation of an organisation or service.

People should use their own judgement when deciding whether a service is appropriate for them.

Hyndburn Connected is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safeguarding or emergency advice.

If someone is in immediate danger or requires urgent assistance, contact the appropriate emergency service.

Submission does not guarantee publication.

We may edit, shorten, categorise, correct formatting or decline content where necessary.
